Pins

Quick question, on a small slip joint with say a 2" blade...peanut-size...are 1/6" pins generally strong enough to hold it all together? I mean two pins throught the liners and back spring. I'd use a 3/32" pivot. They'll be nickle silver.

Thanks,
Don

I know makers who use 1/16 pins but always in team with larger pins

Nickle silver is very soft. I wouldn't trust a 1/16" nickle silver pin to withstand the pressure of the spring.
