Question for the Randall Experts
I posted another thread about cleaning up a couple of old Randall's. The owner asked me a question I can't answer. He says that people have told him that you can look at the spacer rings on a Randall knife and tell the year that it was made.
Is that true or just an urban legend? __________________ God bless Texas! Now let's secede!! |

Jack,
The spacers are just part of the "tell". Other features need to be considered as well: Blade grind, choil configuration, stamp, guard, handle, butt, etc. If the sheath and stone are original they also can help date the knife. Best, Ron |
