Transfer Solution Recipe

A transfer solution I use is equal parts of turpentine, acetone, and Damar varnish. Grumbacher also makes a spray Damar varnish which works well as a transfer solution by itself. It tacks up in a few minutes. I use the Epson transparency film. Most of my transfers are used for repeating designs, lettering and geometric patterns. I've found I can make much better time drawing on the steel with a felt tip marker than goofing on the computer all day.
