Early WWII Hunter

2nd one that's ever come up on e-bay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tchlink:top:en

The 1st one came up in February, 2000:

There were three distinct WWII blade grinds. This was the first in late '43 early '44. Another example:

This is an example of the 2nd grind. Note the single choil and loss of the "hump" on the spine. Some of these had exaggerated lower quillions:

The third grind was close to what Bo brought out as his post WWII Model 3. This one is in a Moore sheath:

Best,

Ron

Jokingly, do you have to be OLD to own old RMK!!!.

Seriously three great examples of early RMK. By the time the third grind/example came around, I can see alot of what today's RMK look like. 60+ years of the same style, plus a few years back log, RMK must be doing something right.

Hey Rod,

I hope all is well at your end. You don't have to be old, but a symbiotic relationship helps Some things never go out of style. A model 3 is one of them.

Best,

Ron
