Photo Contest!!

Let's get the ball rolling with a photo contest and a pretty cool prize for the winner. All that's required to enter is to post an image of a Randall knife and a gun. It can be a rifle, handgun, paint gun, glue gun, staple gun or water gun... you get the idea. We're not looking for Ansel Adams, we're just having some fun. The winner will received an autographed copy of Guy Clark's CD "Sometimes the Song Writes You".
Most Randall folks know songwriting legend Guy Clark for his classic ballad "The Randall Knife" written for his father after he passed away. Take a listen.

This photo is not a contest entry. Just a contribution. My Dad "relieved" a German officer of the Walther P38 in early '45. He turned in his .45 and carried the P38 for the remainder of the war because he was more accurate with it. The 3-6 he bought from Bo after he returned home in late '45.

Best,

Ron

Good fun, Rick. Thanks.
Doesn't matter since you can't tell anyway but that's my Remington 870 12 gage slug gun with extended magazine (9 rounds) propping up the ever-popular and photogenic model # 25 Trapper w/ 5 in. blade.

We're getting some great shots, keep'em coming. There's no limit on the number of entries. Here's a photo that Guy Clark sent me of he and his father's Springfield Randall for which the song was written.

When Bo Randall first learned of Guy Clark's song "The Randall Knife" he bought the record, sat down and copied the words while listening. Here is a copy of the lyrics of Guy Clark's song transcribed by Bo in his own hand.
