Single-Hilt #14, #15 & Buxton Fighter
I am very pleased with this set, which consists of a #14, #15, and Buxton Fighter, all with the same options (stainless steel blade, thumb notches, single nickel silver hilt, and black micarta border patrol handle), but with the standard blade grinds for each model (the Buxton Fighter's is a BCP). Oh, and all three also have the "correct" (black no-hone) sheath. What you don't see in the photos several yards of paracord that I removed from the knives and their sheaths.

That's quite the trio of big bad blades, Ken!
Very impressive! They look very cool with those black sheaths. I'm glad you didn't end up strangling yourself with all that paracord. One thing does puzzle me. Why are there so few posts (like only mine) in response to these beauties, when so many have at least taken the trouble to look. It almost seems like some hidden force is freezing the fingers of those who might dare to comment... __________________ It takes less effort to smile than to frown ! |

Ok, I'll bite.
They look great, but I would have ordered them all with the Bowie Clip Point. __________________ Rob Frey |

Hey Lundie,
That's a great set of Randalls. My #1 son's big field knife is a standard Buxton. He loves it. And I really like the single hilt on yours. I am going to have to give Wayne a call and order one. Does anyone have Wayne Buxton's business phone number? Cheers, Alan Grombacher RKS#5531 RKCC-CMI-010 PS And Lundie needs to post more, as I've always enjoyed his posts. |

First off, thanks for your post, Al!
I'm glad you like the Buxton Fighter too! The phone number I have for Wayne is seven years old, but you could give it a try: Silver Dollar Gun and Pawn Shop, telephone: 972-272-7215 You may also wish to check out my BF which I posted here back in 2005. Here's the link: http://www.knifenetwork.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=33844 It's also amazing to see all the participants we had back then... With regard to your comment "PS And Lunde needs to post more, as I've always enjoyed his posts."; I would add I concur, but it would also be great if more folks would also post. __________________ It takes less effort to smile than to frown ! |
