handle pins
what year did Randall stop using pinned handles? Was it an immediate end or were they phased out over a period of time? Just curious.....

Sometime in the late 1950's, maybe?

Somewhere around 1957, Bruce. However, the Randall shop continued to make a few exclusively for Randall dealer Jack Crider into the early 60's.

Thanks for the response. I've seen a few as of late and it got me to wondering.
Pretty surprising as to how many fairly old Randalls are out there still being used. __________________ I love all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy. www.BirdogForge.com |
