Hi and welcome, Barry
From the left: 1. Looks like an early 50's Model 1 fighter. I don't think the sheath is original to the knife. Are there any markings on the back of the sheath? 2. Mid to late 60's Model 2 stiletto with original sheath. 3. This is the jewel: An early WWII Hunter (Prior to becoming known as a Model 3) in a Clarence Moore sheath! Trying to put a value on old Randalls now is a bit of crap shoot, but I'll throw out a few numbers just to give you a rough idea: $800 give or take $200 on each of the Model 1 & Model 2. Multiples of that for the WWII Hunter. Best, Ron Last edited by BoBlade; 02-14-2012 at 02:06 AM. |

Not only is Barry a True Master in his craft of engraving, but he has started a lot of very interesting threads.
One of my favorite threads is this one ( Samurai Swordmaker Katsuo Kato The 25th Kanefusa Fujiwara )I am not sure if the link will work but you can copy and paste in the browser if it doesnt. It shows how a Master Samurai Swordmaker makes a sword, the tools he uses for making the sword and the engraving in the old world method of making one. Jeff |
