Interesting Johnson Rough Back Sheath
Here's an interesting ebay auction that a fellow collector has just pointed out to me.....
It appears that somebody forgot to stitch the bottom of the stone pocket! Take a look.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/172254698905...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT |

Hard to see but maybe it was removed. Why? I have no idea why someone would do that. On the other hand I have seen many sheaths that did not make the grade so Johnson would X thru the logo and sell them as seconds. Seems like this one would have been one of those. Or should have been one of those.

I think it's possible that the stitches are hidden by the bottom edge of the raised pocket.

It's a possibility. I didn't have a chance to ask for a better photograph of it before the auction ended. Definitely looks void of stitching though. I'm waiting for him to relist it to ask questions.
