WWII #1, what would it look like?
I am not a collector but I have thought about ordering a #1 off and on for years. I have always wondered what the typical WW11 #1's were as far as blade length, handle material, etc? If I talked myself into it what should I order to get what my grandfather might have carried?

It won't look exactly the same because Randall has changed the blade shape since then. I plan on ordering one for the same reason like this:
Model 1 - 8" Wrist Thong Other than the Wrist Thong, the knife would be in standard configuration with the leather handle. The method of attaching the thong has changed since then, so the closest you can get to the WWII version is the modern Wrist Thong hole in the Butt Cap. The 8" length was the most common back then, so get that. __________________ Rob Frey |
