1939 & 1942 Randall catalogs

Hello,
i sold these 2 catalogs and now the buyer is questioning their authenticity. Could someone take a look at these two auctions and give me some information about the catalogs? Are either legit, both legit, or....? Any help will be greatly appreciated. The item numbers are:

171196990835 and 171196960627

Sorry about listing the item numbers, but I don't know how to shorten the urls.

Thanks, in advance.

Correct price page from the 1939-42 catalog:

Correct price page from the 1942-44 catalog:

Are yours the actual originals? ...or are they some sort of xeroxed copies?

1939 & 1942 Randall Catalogs

I believe they are originals. I am hoping that someone with more knowledge will back me up on this. I have hundreds of Randall Catalogs but on this one 1939 & three 1942's. I have compared my examples to the Randall Catalog CD produced a few years back and my examples seem authentic. Just looking for some insight.

The buyer needs to give specific reasons why they are not authentic, then you can refute each reason, no?

OP,

Over the years, copies were made of the originals and some of these have circulated among collectors. I have copies. An example as follows:

My suggestion would be to contact Perry Miller at (321) 403-6644. He is sanctioned by the shop to authenticate Randalls. The cost per knife is $100. He may be willing to attempt to authenticate these catalogs that you have sold as originals for a fee.

Regards,

Ron
